ECONOR, given in-feed, is rapidly and well absorbed (>90%) from the small intestine. Peak systemic levels are achieved in 1 to 4 hours. Colon concentrations reach 1.68 µg/g at treatment levels for Swine Dysentery (SD) and this is well in excess of the MIC90 for B. hyo.
