Five field trials were carried out in the UK and one in Germany, totalling 546 pigs, demonstrated the efficacy of ECONOR in the treatment of EP. Treated pigs received ECONOR in-feed at a level providing 10mg/kg bw for three weeks.
Marked improvements were seen in daily gain, FCE and lung lesion scores for the medicated pigs.
