Two studies were carried out ECONOR in-feed, each with a different strain of M. hyopneumoniae, the strains having different MICs. The strain in Trial 1 had a MIC of 0.016 mg/ml . The strain in Trial 2 had a MIC of 0.0078 mg/ml.
ECONOR at a level of 200ppm in-feed reduced lung lesions by 46% in Trial 1 and 79% in Trial 2.
