In a challenge study in the United Kingdom, ECONOR was tested at a dose level for treatment (75ppm, 14 days post challenge).
 

Results: Substantial reduction of gut lesions in line with the dosage. ECONOR at 75ppm is highly effective in treating Ileitis.
 

One field trial was conducted in the United States in a herd with finishing pigs suffering from an acute outbreak of ileitis.
 

ECONOR was given at 3.3mg/kg bw (75ppm) for 21 days. 
 

Results: Excellent efficacy in the treatment of Ileitis in commercial finishing pigs. Clinical signs decreased and performance significantly improved during the observation period of 28 days.

One field trial was conducted in Greece in a farrow-to-finish pig farm with the history of Ileitis outbreaks. 288 pigs were involved in the study. The efficacy of ECONOR at 50ppm was compared to Tylosin (100ppm) (treatment period 21 days) and the performance of the pigs was evaluated during the nursery and growing stage. 
 
Results: Excellent efficacy in the control of Ileitis in commercial growing pigs. Clinical signs decreased and performance significantly improved during the nursery and growing stage.
