Prevention of Ileitis
Field Trial in USA

In a challenge study the efficacy of ECONOR was tested in two dose levels (1.45 and 2.55mg/kg bw - 25/50ppm ; treatment period: 21 days post challenge). 
 

Results: ECONOR was highly effective in controlling Ileitis. Significant reduction of diarrhoea, anorexia and lesion score with more pronounced efficacy at 2.55mg/kg body weight.

In an artificial infection study the efficacy of ECONOR was tested in different dose levels (25, 37.5, 50; treatment period: 5 days prior + 21 days post challenge) in comparison to Tylosin (110ppm). 
 
Results: Substantial reduction of the clinical signs after severe challenge. Dose response and significant improvement of weight gain at 50ppm in comparison to Tylosin group.
